Based on your feedback and requests we have made some terrific enhancements to our website!
Name your CMI/VMI CartsQuickly identify your CMI/VMI Carts by name! Now when you create a CMI/VMI Cart you have the additional option of naming it so that it can be easily identified. Simply go to the CMI/VMI Carts page and click on 'Edit Cart Name'.

Favorites
You can now access your 'Favorites Personal List' of items with just one click and from any page on our site! Just go to the 'Orders' tab on the top navigation and choose 'Favorites' from the drop down list.

Search Results
No More Stock Checks – Get real time inventory information directly on the 'Search Results' page without doing a stock check.
Pick Up Locations – In addition to the inventory available across all of our Customer Fulfillment Centers, inventory at your closest Pick Up Location will also be shown. Pick up Locations are in Harrisburg, PA, Atlanta, GA, Elkhart, IN, Livonia, MI and Wood Dale, IL.
Add to Cart/Add to List – the 'Add to Cart' and 'Add to List' buttons have a new home at the top of the Search Results page. Input your desired quantities for each product and click the 'Add to Cart' or 'Add to List' button once.
New Icons – Check out our new icons. Now information about the items you are trying to order is that much easier to find! Simply roll over the icons or check the key located at the bottom of the page.

Express Checkout
Spend less time entering the same information each time you place an order. It's simple... just set your checkout preferences once and the next time you checkout, click the 'Express Checkout' button.
With Express Checkout you can create settings for:
- Order Routing – Choose defaults for 'Purchase Order Number', 'Attention' and 'Ship Order No'. These settings can be adjusted with every order by changing the information in the 'Express Checkout' box.
- Shipping and Notifications – Set email notification preferences for all your Express Checkout orders. For truck shipments, choose either pre–paid or collect as your default, and indicate your lift gate requirements if any.
- Payment Method – choose a default payment method, such as a credit card, for all your Express Checkout orders.
You may change your Express Checkout default settings at any time by clicking on the 'Change Defaults' button in the 'Express Checkout Settings' box.
It is important to note that Express Checkout is NOT replacing the standard checkout process you are currently using – this is an additional feature we are now offering.

New 'Order Review'
For your convenience we have also added a new 'Order Review' screen that will appear at the end of both the Checkout and Express Checkout process. This page will appear just prior to your order being submitted, giving you the opportunity to review all the items on your order.

Workflow Enhancements
The following enhancements will serve to further streamline your procurement process when using Workflow on MSCDirect.com.
- Order Rejection Notification – When authorized 'Buyers' and 'Supervisors' reject an order in 'Pending Order Carts', the 'Requisitioner' will automatically receive an email informing them of the rejection. The 'Buyer' or 'Supervisor' also has the option of adding a personal note to this notification, should they need to provide an explanation or give further instruction.
- Buyer Reassignment – 'Buyers' and 'Supervisors' will now have the option to re–assign orders in 'Pending Order Carts'. This new feature will help relieve any "bottlenecks" in the procurement process that may occur as a result of complications or uneven workload. If a 'Buyer' or 'Supervisor' runs into a problem which prevents them from reviewing all their Pending Orders in a timely manner, he/she can re–assign it to someone who can.
